The Easton Tea Room at the
Fall River Historical Society

FRHS

The Easton Tea Room is located adjacent to the museum building at 458 High Street, and is owned and operated by the Fall River Historical Society. Housed in the historic 1870 Alexander Dorrance Easton house, the elegant interior features original period details, enhanced by magnificent fabrics and wall coverings by Jaima Brown Home, and has a total seating capacity of forty-five in three intimate parlors.

Available for rental for a variety of private functions, we make a specialty of elegant teas for bridal showers, baby showers, and birthday parties. The Easton Tea Room offers tea, atmosphere, and serenity – so let us take all the fuss out of planning your function or group visit. We serve an extensive selection of Ashby’s famous English teas, and offer a variety of tea sandwiches, savories, and delectable dainty pastries – our scones, for which we are locally famous, are heavenly. Our experienced staff will be delighted to work with you– let us assist you in planning a menu ideally suited to your needs. We guarantee you a refined experience that will not soon be forgotten!

The Easton Tea Room is also open seasonally between Thanksgiving and the end of the year. Contact us for prices and details.

This early 20th-century recipe from the kitchen of Margaret Casey Dewaele has been enjoyed by her descendants and their friends for over 100 years. Modified by her granddaughter, Mary, this recipe features finely-chopped imported dates. Served with Inported Devonshire Clotted Cream and jam. Lovely!

Included in our delicious selection are lovely hand-decorated petit fours, mouthwatering shortbread, almond macaroons, and a variety of additional confections.
