Weddings, etc. at the
Fall River Historical Society

The Victorian gardens at the Fall River Historical Society offer a lush, colorful setting for your wedding ceremony, reception, or photographs – if you want a garden wedding, we have just what you are looking for. Is it a private party, shower, or cocktail hour that you are planning? We can furnish an ideal location for those events as well.

A popular feature for wedding ceremonies is our elegant nineteenth-century cast-iron gazebo, the only original example extant in Fall River. Many a bride and groom have exchanged their vows in the gazebo, with their family and friends observing the ceremony from the flower-bordered stone terrace. The gardens were designed in such a manner that your entire day, from start to finish, can be conducted in a lush, verdant environment. Lawn areas are available that can be tented for cocktail hours, receptions, or private parties of all sorts – or why not tent the terrace, ideal for dancing.

The gardens at the Fall River Historical Society furnish an ideal, affordable location for small to medium-sized weddings and parties, with a suggested maximum capacity of 150 guests.

Contact the museum for prices and further details – our staff will be delighted to work with you in planning your special day.
